    LOCATION: The Sunflower Hostel Berlin is located in the district of Friedrichshain. Because of the number of great bars in the south of Friedrichshain, traveling to other districts is almost unnecessary. It takes no time at all to get to the district of Kreuzberg, which is just a short walk over the Oberbaumbrücke (Oberbaum Bridge). It’s also possible to hop on the M10 tram to get to the district of Prenzlauer Berg.
    There are a number of wonderful restaurants along the Spree River, in very close proximity to the Sunflower Hostel Berlin. There you can sit outside or find a spot along the riverbank to enjoy the sunset and music. In the evenings, a number of clubs open up and offer a comprehensive nightlife.

    ROOMS: The Sunflower Hostel Berlin offers apartments for two to four people, single and double rooms as well as rooms for 3, 4, 5 to 6, or 8 people. During the busy season there is an additional charge of 1.50 Euro per person.
    The apartments during the busy season are 75 Euro a night, or can be had for a flat fee of 380 Euro per week.
    Depending on the season, groups larger than 15 who are staying for a longer period of time can receive a reduced rate.

  • War vor einiger zeit für ein verlängertes wochenende in Berlin und landete hier auf der suche nach einem preiswerten schlafplatz in friedrichshain. insgesamt kann ich das sunflower weiterempfehlen. die Räume sind sehr bunt, wie man sich ein typisches hostel für backpacker vorstellt, die zimmer relativ groß, saubere duschen und gute preise.
    das team hätte allerdings freundlicher sein können.

  • Das Hostel ist generell etwas alternativ, was die besondere Atmosphäre ausmacht. Im Umkreis von ein paar Gehminuten findet man jede Menge Restaurants und Bars. Direkt im Hostel (Aufenthaltsraum) ist meist auch viel los und man lernt jede Menge nette Leute kennen.

  • Ich habe vor kurzem einige Tage im Sunflower Hostel in Berlin zugebracht. Trotz der 40€ fand ich ein total verdrecktes Zimmer vor. Das unfreundliche und gewaltbereite Personal hat mich am Abend auf die unangemessenste Art und Weise behandelt, sodass ich mir fast überlegt hätte, eine Anzeige gegen eben dieses aufzugeben. Zudem hagelte es Beleidigungen und Beschimpfungen seitens der Angestellten und des Besitzers. Für jeden der überhaupt keine Ansprüche stellt und auch bereit ist, sich vom Personal mal richtig schön verprügeln zu lassen eine absolute Empfehlung. Für alle anderen und besonders auch für Schulklassen/kurse: Nehmt ein anderes Jugendhotel! Es ist zu eurer eigenen Sicherheit/Befriedigung. Vermeidet dieses "Hostel" unter allen Umständen! Etwas Schlechteres hat es nicht gegeben, gibt es nicht und wird es auch nicht geben.

  • wir fanden die nacht in den hostel beschissen! übelste knastibetten und spinte wie in der DDR!!! Hygiene und Sauberkeit war ja mal ganz ekelhaft! mir juckts am ganzen körper! man konnte nicht mal eigene bettwäsche benutzen und nichts zu essen und trinken mitnehmen!!!! lage war für\'n arsch! übelste buchte. assiviertel pur! keine ruhe! KEINE WEITEREMPFEHLUNG!!!!!!!! Nichts für kinder! achso.,. und Hippies und Junkies waren vor ort!
